Description
Bust of young Alexander, who destroyed the Persian empire and established a great empire from Macedonia to India, BC. It is dated to the 2nd century. The artifact found in the lower agora of Bergama, was built by the king II. It bears the iconic features of the Pergamon sculpture art during the reign of Eumenes. Featuring characteristic details such as round eyes, thick eyelashes and a half-open mouth, the work reveals a typical Alexander depiction.
The sculpture is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
